Happy Birthday to Me – Birthday List For This Coming Year

In about an hour I will celebrate my birthday. Every year on my birthday (as well as on New Years Eve) I list three things I have accomplished during the year. I then follow this up with a list of three things I intend to manifest during this coming year.
Here’s This Year’s List:
This year has been one of incredible growth, service and manifestation. During this year I
(1) Became stronger and more positive
(2) Received an incredible healing on almost every level
(3) Became more appreciative of all I have

Next Year I
(1)Intend to go to Peru & travel extensively
(2) Manifest more clients and assist them in their services (and do this as a full time, paying job)
(3) Intend to move into a wonderful place with a porch or balcony, or fenced yard

Let Go Already, & Other Random Thoughts

This evening I saw parts of myself I am not proud of. Anger and ego interfered with my feelings of trust. I need to let myself open up to the way things are, instead of trying to control them in a way I feel they need to be controlled.
The I Ching (or Oracle of Changes) says that an obstacle lasts only as long as it is necessary. If this is true, then I am going through some serious learning stuff, and I need to be more receptive.
Someone recently asked me how I feel about the idea of unanswered prayers (or in this case, things not going the way I think I want them to be going). I replied that this simply means there is something better coming.
Now..if I can just get myself out of the way to see what it is…

Learning Not to Re Act

I am learning that an obstacle lasts only as long as necessary. I am also learning to let go and not sweat the small stuff. It makes things so much easier when I do this. When I first heard the saying ‘I live to thank Spirit all my prayers haven’t been answered,’ I thought that was probably the dumbest thing anyone ever said. Now that I have had time to think about it, I think it really was one of the smartest. So I have a nice restful feeling, and I gotta tell you (for the first time in ages), I am enjoying the journey. I don’t know when the shift from expecting to accepting occurred, but I am glad it did.

So Many Wonderful Things to Manifest

This Wednesday I completed a 30 day manifestation program. It was based on Abraham-Hicks teachings. Every third day a different subject was highlighted. One day it was Love, the next day it was Healing, the third day, Wealth. There were various exercises and practices which allowed me to expand my concepts and views in each of the three areas.The results of doing this were nothing short of miraculous! It enabled me to remain open, focused and positive. This enabled me to remain in a space of allowing, which in turn created an atmosphere of positive expectation and gratitude. The idea behind this is (to quote the creator) ‘Find something to feel good about, period’. Doing this allows you to raise your vibration, resulting in manifestation of all you want to create. I recommend doing this strongly.

Tomorrow I will celebrate another year of life.

I will embrace the opportunity to appreciate all the I have.

I will also be of greater service to those I encounter.

And, finally, I intend to recognize and appreciate the highest and best, not only in myself, but in all others as well.

Reaffirmation

There’s a time and place for everything. It is exciting and reassuring to see how the desire I have, to be of service, is manifesting perfectly and effortlessly. This manifestation is occurring in a different way than I imagined, however, the result is still the same. If just opening and allowing can manifest so much, just imagine how limitless the possibilities, of just allowing, are. This is so exciting, I am overflowing with joy! At a time like this, when so many are searching for direction and some kind of answers, it is reaffirming to know that everything they need exists. They just have to ask.

Everything is Coming Together!

So many exciting events are occurring! There are classes in channeling, personal reality, healing (on all levels), and so much more. The time has come for each one of us to connect on whatever level is most comfortable, and to serve in any way we feel most drawn to. This is a time of transformation. Sometimes this change seems uncertain and undefined, however, without change there is no growth, and without growth there is stagnation. Let go and open up. Although there may be a fear of the unknown, it can also open up the space for a new millennium and, with this, a shift in Universal Consciousness.

Depression

Sometimes it just rears its ugly head at the most inconvenient times. It is always unwanted. Usually unexpected. The best way for me, when this occurs, is to realize it will pass, and that there is frequently a lesson in it. It’s when I compare myself to others, or look at the the outer (rather than inner) that this happens. Usually I find this emotion frequently happens when I am not being true to myself.

Honoring the Greatness Within

There’s a part of me that tends to judge my progress by how I am doing (in comparison to those around me). Whenever I do this, I am always defeated. Defeated before I start. Buddha said ‘If every bird had to be the best singer in the forest, the woods would be very quiet, indeed’. Whenever, I base my progress on how much better I am than another, I always fail. When, however, I allow myself to honor and cultivate that which is greatest in myself, I always manage to succeed.
