Today the plastic turntable on my microwave melted. This caused the glass turntable to crack, and the plate on top of the turntable to melt on top of the turntable. Taking the turntable out and trying to separate the plate only made things worse. So I sadly entertain the possibility that perhaps I am going to have to stop using a microwave and start cooking. I know how to cook, I just find it easier to pop something into the microwave, set the timer and take out this un-energized food item several minutes later. This promises to be an interesting turn of events, and if I allow myself to be open, it might be a healthy one as well. Of course, there is always the opportunity that I might chuck it all and get a new microwave, but maybe I will wait awhile and see how it goes. I do have a perfectly good stove. It is gas, so I turn it on weekly to see if it still works. Anyway, the point of all this is that perhaps I want to be more health conscious, and perhaps cooking seems like a good way to start.

I feel as if someone turned the lights on. I am experiencing a new sense of unity, gratitude and sense of belonging, For this, I am eternally grateful!

I find myself being more and more guided in every aspect of my life. I simply need to allow this to happen. It does no good to profess faith and willingness to be led, when one tries to support their own agenda. Are we not a group, connected by our spiritual essence? There is no need to be the ‘best’ or ‘most’ anything. There is indeed more than enough to go around. Buddha said it best ‘If every bird in the woods had to be the best singer, the woods would be a very silent place’.

We are all more alike than different. It is the spiritual heart connection which matters. I welcome the opportunity to share and grow, and welcome having you in my life as a part of this. Regardless of the relationship we may share, we are all of the same Source. It is, for this reason, that I welcome you into my life.

I haven’t written in so long. So much has happened. My ‘Introduction to Metaphysics’ Meetup has grown to 312 members. I will soon start a spiritual support discussion group, as well. A dear friend has been given a wonderful opportunity and has moved out of state. I am beginning to understand the need to balance connection with others with a desire for privacy. All in all, it is a very interesting time. I have no idea what will happen next, however I am excited to find out….
