Try Running Around A House Without Thinking of The Fox Following You

Monday, December 29th, 2008

One of the quickest ways to gain insight is meditation. The problem arises when the conscious, analytical mind gets in the way. There’s a tendency to ‘think’ (instead of feeling). How to get past this, is a challenge and presents a wonderful lesson. It is sort of like trying to move, while ignoring all the mental baggage which is following you. If you can keep your mind focused on the wider picture (instead of getting caught up in the garbage, or temporary illusion), you can more quickly extricate yourself from a negative, confused state and raise your vibration. This has the potential for greater peace of mind and clarity.

Happy Holidays
Think of what manifestations you want, what gifts you are grateful for, and what changes you want to make this year.
Many blessings to you

An Obstacle

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

Lasts only as long as it needs to. Challenges we experience can make us aware that there is something larger and  greater than any temporal illusion of lack. By letting one’s awareness be guided to a more Divine source (through prayer, meditation and belief) the way will open up and solace and direction appears. There is always guidance. We only have to  ask and know we will be helped.

Mind Shift

Friday, December 12th, 2008

I haven’t had one yet. I am allowing myself to be oppressed by things which shouldn’t. I know better, but I am doing it anyway. Spirit is allowing me to learn from this very difficult lesson, however, I could step out of this at any time. The problem is, I am reluctant to let go of the way things are, which- if the truth be told- hasn’t really been working for me. It is said: if you jump, the net will be there. I need to just let go and take a leap of faith.

Learning to be Guided.

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

That title, in itself almost seems paradoxical; Being guided denotes listening, opening up, trusting all will turn out. Learning (at least to me) symbolizes needing to practice something, to prepare. I think if am going to be guided, I need to just open up and listen-knowing things will work out. Sometimes just letting go, knowing things will be ok, seems the best way.

A New Beginning

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

I find myself at a new place in my life. I am experiencing a need to serve; to make a difference. I continued my yearly holiday tradition of donating to a favorite charity instead of giving presents to individuals.  There is so much more I need to do, however. My New Years Resolution will be to be more compassionate, more accepting, more generous and less self absorbed. 2009 will be a good year, filled with much change and hope. Much like the new Administration.
