I was offered a position last week. Because I am currently unemployed (and seeking employment) the opportunity seemed perfect. Yet, I turned it down. Something inside said ‘this isn’t right; trust’. I had to listen to this ’still small voice’. I called the company (offering me the job) to say I would take it. Yet, when I started to talk, something very strange happened: my mouth opened and I found myself explaining why I couldn’t take this job. I am learning to trust myself. Doing this is both invigorating and scary at the same time.
