Mindset!

Everyone has one. It affects the way everything else goes. ‘Mindset’ refers to the attitude you choose to take. Granted, you can’t always determine the way you are going to feel or how your thoughts will be. You can, however, influence the way this goes by recognizing when your state of mind is working for or against you. For example, if you feel negative or bad when you wake up. You probably need to do something to change that to feel better. You can start by focusing on some of the things you are grateful for. Write them down and then carry the list you have made with you. When you find yourself focusing on something which lowers your energy (over which you have no control), look at your list. If the intent (to feel better) is sincere, this action will really help. Meditation, of course, is another way to take your consciousness to a higher, more positive level. There are so many other which also work (a long walk, music, exercise). It’s up to you. The main thing, however, is to just shift your focus to a place which makes you feel better. You’ll be happy you did…

Being Aware

Is probably one of the easiest ways to be prepared.
This requires just living in the Now, and listening for the signs which indicate when you aren’t. Sometimes the slightest clue (such as missing a turn when you’re driving somewhere) can be sufficient that you need need to be more present now. There’s a saying:
The Past Is Over
The Future Hasn’t Arrived
Right Now is a Gift-
That’s Why It is called ‘The Present’.
When we area able to be here now, dealing with in our immediate environment, obstacles lessen. We focus on the situation at hand, deal with it, and move on to something else. Greater energy, more time, and self fulfillment are some of the results.

Forget About It!

Listening to ones Inner self is probably one of the most helpful forms of guidance you can utilize. However this may not always be easy to do. There are times you might find yourself worrying about something (even though you’ve already done everything you can to resolve it). These are the times when letting go and leaving everything up to a higher source allows you to shift your focus to a more positive state. A teacher I had once said that there are two ways to stop worrying. (1) Just let it go (and focus on something different) Or (2) keep dwelling on it until there it no longer has has a charge or any emotional residue left.

HANGING ON!

I started this blog with the concept that ‘hanging on’ meant ‘hanging in there’. Then I realized that it meant refusing to let go. Imagine that everything around you is shifting and changing. You have the choice of going with the new or staying where you are. As changes continue, however, hanging on to the old can get pretty uncomfortable. By allowing yourself to let go of the things which no longer work, you make room for new experiences. Spirit never closes a door without opening a new window to experience.

Listen! Let go. Open up to the messages and impulses you receive. Surround yourself with love and light. Everything is going according to plan. By remaining centered and keeping your thoughts and feelings focused on things which make you feel positive and good, you will be balanced and directed to do what needs to be done. You will also attract things which motivate and guide you to succeed.
