Are You Where You Want To Be?

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

Lately, so many people have told me that their lives have turned out quite differently than they originally thought they would be. They were excited and surprised by this. Sometimes when change occurs, the best thing to do is just go with the flow. Your feelings are one of the best gauges whether something is working. Certainly some planning is important, however by remaining in tune with your feelings, you’ll know whether the direction you are are moving in is one which gets your juices flowing and motivates you. Meditation can be one really effective way to do this.

Openness

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

There is a saying: “I am now open to receive.” Being open and available to life allows you to recognize and appreciate situations which work for you. If you remain open and attuned to this, the type of events and people you attract will encourage that type of situation to continue.

Gratitude

Monday, January 29th, 2007

By being open and maintaining a state of gratitude, we leave a message to the Universe that we enjoy and appreciate all the blessings and wonderful things which we are receiving. It is almost as though we are saying to Spirit, ‘More Please’. This action or attitude creates a source for unlimited prosperity and good to occur.

Positive Thought

Sunday, January 28th, 2007

Positive thought allows you to increase/raise your vibration and energy. This process becomes stronger with practice. The more consistently you do this, the less inclined you are to focus on the negative, which decreases your vitality.

This attitude or practice corresponds to the tarot card The Sun (#19).
This wonderful card represents positive energy. Focusing on positive, bright energy encourages and supports a supportive energy source.

Obstacles Just Fade Away

Wednesday, January 24th, 2007

The I Ching says that an obstruction lasts only as long as necessary for the lesson to occur. By being open and welcoming change, one is better able to remain aware of the best action to take, and more in tune with the most appropriate steps to facilitate this change. (This corresponds to hexagram #23, Doing Away With The Old).

QUOTE – Law Of Attraction

Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007

By the Universal Law of Attraction, you draw to you the essence of whatever you are predominantly thinking about. If you are thinking about what you desire, your life experience reflects those things. If you are predominantly thinking about what you do not want, your life experiences will reflect that as well. The ’secret’ is to remain focused and positive.

Meditation

Monday, January 22nd, 2007
The real purpose of Meditation is †o help us realize who we really are. If you think of Spirit alone as your true Self, this comes easy. Meditation will enable you to remain calm during periods of intense activity, but also accept with wise understanding the trials of life. The most effective approach during meditation is to remain calmly active and actively calm. (Meditation for Starters, by J. Donald Walters)

SHOCK

Sunday, January 21st, 2007

(I-Ching Hexagram #51). This hexagram usually occurs when an unsettling event occurs. Usually this happens when some area of your life isn’t working for you, or is creating imbalance in your life. Often this means that you’ve been going about something in the wrong way. If you can accept the challenges with calmness, remaining open to the new situations, you can emerge stronger, wiser and happier.

This corresponds to the Tarot Card #13 (Death)
Contrary to popular belief, this card usually indicates death of a situation (rather than actual death of a person). Accepting these changes with faith and calmness can provide the necessary insight and strength needed.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

(Tarot Card #10) The Wheel of Fortune gives you an opportunity to attune to the times. Every day brings new opportunities. Deep patience combined with an eye on your goal can let you succeed. Reassure yourself that if you have done things right, the right things will then happen.

This card corresponds to the I-Ching Hexagram #46 (Pushing Upward). Decide what you value most and move in the direction of making it happen. Decide where you want to go, and combine actions supporting this choice into daily life. Choose your priorities and let them be the basis for your decisions. Great achievements can be the result of these choices.

THE TOWER

Friday, January 19th, 2007

(Tarot Card #16) Is known as the ‘Karmic Card’. Usually drawing this card indicates that a Karmic situation is reappearing; bringing the chance for resolution and growth. By releasing old ways of life, new opportunities are allowed to occur.

This card corresponds to the I-Ching Hexagram #49 (Revolution). Off with the old; on with the new. Proceed with care. By going about the changes in the correct way, the outcome will be successful.
